So during his trip down to SXSW Omen linked up with DJBooth.net at Audiomack studios and he recorded this gem of a song. Omen is one of the more talented artist out there in the music world who has yet to garner the appreciation for his music that he very much well deserves.

Last weekend Omen opened for Common at the Nike World Festival that was held this last weekend. He also played in a game that featured Chicago's own Spenzo as well. That's a great look for the Dreamvillian also be on the lookout for his Elephant Eyes project that should be out later this year.

What’s happening? I’m happy you’re here. My name is Omen. I’m an artist and producer from Chicago. I’ve been making my name in the industry the past few years through multiple projects I’ve released. It’s been a great journey so far and I’ve experienced so many incredible moments such as touring in the U.S. and throughout Europe with J. Cole as well as Drake. What up Villains, this is Omen. It’s been awhile. It feels great to be putting out a new project. This is dedicated to my favorite producer of all time, J Dilla. Most of you all know he passed away from Lupus some years ago and therefore, I’ll never get to work with him officially. But, this is my way of doing that, showing my appreciation for his inspiration and legacy. A Glorious Cool EP features all production from songs J Dilla produced in his career. Some are well known beats, some are more rare. I hope you enjoy this, go out and seek more of Dilla’s music and truly learn what made him a legend. Thank you for your support. I love yall.
