Doc Da Mindbenda spent over a year working on this album so take time out from listening to your Drake album or whatever have you and listen to some real Hip Hop from the Windy City. First check out what Doc has to say:
Over a year and a half in the making, this project was carefully pieced to showcase my ability to produce an album under the “RZA act”. With the assists of some the cities finest mc’s, i wanted to show another side of this Chicago’s music scene. Good Ol’ Rap shit lol…like you said i wanted to make a “Soul Survivor” “Extended Play” “Ritual Of The Molemen” type of album. The past year i was able to work with tons of talents people and built these relationships and its show to be more than just a slapped together “compilation” album. My production range really shows and as a producer i naturally want to showcase my talent in Keenan Coke, who you’ve come to know, Exclusive and Flu P. Gans.

The works with Mic Terror really show the progression we’ve made as a mini unit, as well as Vic and Suli. Tree came thru and blessed me with a banger with Exclusive in “Reggie Miller”. The GLC stamp of approval also means alot growning up on his classics. So ranging from legends like Akbar, Pugs, Psalm One, Griff, and GLC to the Treated Crew, Save Money Army, ProbCause, Legion Of Doods, Martin $ky, Pavy, Doc, D2G, Onis and introducing Big Henn of Intelligent Aggression.
I have about 30 songs in total and obviously didn’t wanna overload the rap senses lol i hope you enjoy the vibe, tunes and raps on this. I know “Hip-Hop” is dead, but this is my eulogy to it. Hopefully the youth can appreciate what inspired me over 20 years ago. I know where the music is going so i try my damnedest to blend the classic n futuristic and reach ears outside the city and make a national claim. “I Want In!” (in my Frank White voice)lol…. Anyways hope you dig it years from now not just today. Shout Out Prob, Mulatto Patriot and Bonafyde Media for helping me make this project really come to life.
